Aligning divs in two columns.
Aligning divs css in two columns and what happens if the divs are filled unevenly.
- Divide the space in to two columns first and place the boxes in there. The most universal and bullet proof way.
- The same can be achieved without the holding columns, scenarios are brought below. Using this simplified, a div-pinchy approach caused a problem under IE7 and IE6 one day. Content was pushed below other parts of layout. The real cause behind this wasn't searched. A quick fix was to switch back to the bullet proof two-columns way.
