Forward mail to Gmail
You have got a domain name registered and home page and now you want to to send and receive emails like a Big Business - support@tuljo.com and seo@tuljo.com and marketing@tuljo.com instead of miserable superman7931@yahoo.com… Google allows to send and receive emails over your Gmail account. Make your life simple.
Please note - this here below is not a copy/paste tutorial nor golden eggs.
Receiving emails
- Sign up for Google Apps for free account by entering a domain name for your organization. Google Apps is a different account from Google Accounts.
- Enter your domain name and verify it.
- Point DNS MX records to Google mail servers.
- At ZoneEdit: | @ | MX | 3600 | 1 | ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM |
- Optionally create some more email aliases. (Options > Manage this domain >) Organization & users > click on the name > tab User information > Add a nickname.
- Forward emails from this new Google account to your main/collecting Google account.
Sending emails
On the main/collecting Google account set new identities and sending via Google servers. Settings > Accounts and Import > Send mail as: Add another email address you own
Further ideas
Optionally create a custom Gmail address, such as http://mail.tuljo.com, where other people from your business can log in and get their emails.
